👟✨ BCS Is Stepping Up! ✨👟

We’re partnering with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive and the deadline to donate is almost here!

From January 20 – February 28, we’ll be collecting NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world. These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.

We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.

📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.

Let’s give back—one step at a time! 💙

Thank you for helping us support #students, families and communities around the world.

🌟It's SRO Appreciation Day!🌟

Today, we shine a spotlight on the incredible School Resource Officers who do so much more than keep our schools safe. They inspire, guide and support our #students every single day. 🙌💙

From offering a calming presence in tough moments to celebrating every #student’s success, our SROs show up with courage, care and heart. They’re mentors, role models and a trusted part of the #BedfordCountySchools family, building relationships that last long beyond the school day. Your dedication makes a real difference, and today we celebrate YOU! ❤️

It's SRO Appreciation Day!
🚔 Happy SRO Appreciation Day! 🚔
Today, we are proud to recognize and thank our incredible School Resource Officers who serve our students far beyond the badge — Officer Ziegler, Officer Rawn, and Officer Cooke.

Officer Ziegler has served as an SRO for 8 years and enjoys working with students as they grow and develop into young adults. Building strong relationships with students is one of her favorite parts of the job, helping students see her as more than just a badge.

Officer Rawn has dedicated 25 years to law enforcement, including 13 years as an SRO serving at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels. She loves joking around with students and making them laugh, while also emphasizing the importance of care and connection. She believes that students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care — and that those relationships play a key role in students’ academic success and personal growth.

Our SROs mentor, teach, protect, and build relationships every day, helping make our school a safe, welcoming, and supportive place for students.

Thank you, Officer Ziegler, Officer Rawn, and Officer Cooke, for all that you do — today and every day! 💙🦅
