Today, we are proud to recognize and thank our incredible School Resource Officers who serve our students far beyond the badge — Officer Ziegler, Officer Rawn, and Officer Cooke.
Officer Ziegler has served as an SRO for 8 years and enjoys working with students as they grow and develop into young adults. Building strong relationships with students is one of her favorite parts of the job, helping students see her as more than just a badge.
Officer Rawn has dedicated 25 years to law enforcement, including 13 years as an SRO serving at the high school, middle school, and elementary levels. She loves joking around with students and making them laugh, while also emphasizing the importance of care and connection. She believes that students don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care — and that those relationships play a key role in students’ academic success and personal growth.
Our SROs mentor, teach, protect, and build relationships every day, helping make our school a safe, welcoming, and supportive place for students.
Thank you, Officer Ziegler, Officer Rawn, and Officer Cooke, for all that you do — today and every day! 💙🦅

Students from #CommunityMiddleSchool, #CommunityHighSchool, #HarrisMiddleSchool, #ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool, and #ThomasMagnetSchool recently joined #students from schools across Middle Tennessee at Franklin County High School for the Tri-Lakes Honor Band.
With just nine hours to learn and rehearse their concert selections, these young musicians delivered an impressive performance in under 24 hours, demonstrating exceptional talent, focus and dedication. 🌟 Thanks to the guidance and support of their band directors, students not only sharpened their musical skills but also experienced teamwork, collaboration and the thrill of performing as part of a large, dynamic ensemble.
👏 #Congratulations to all participants for this outstanding achievement!

On Friday, February 6, 2026, 21 CTE teachers from Bedford County participated in a Nissan Problem-Solving Seminar for Lead Instructors hosted by Dan Caldwell of Nissan Group of the Americas. By completing this training, these teachers are now qualified to instruct students using Nissan’s problem-solving methods and tools, allowing Bedford County students the opportunity to become Nissan Problem-Solving certified.
The course focuses on three key areas: Understanding the Current State, Identifying Root Causes, and Implementing Solutions. This structured program strengthens real-world problem-solving skills and prepares our students for success in high-demand careers.
