🌾🚜 Celebrating National FFA Week! 🚜🌾

#ShelbyvilleCentralHighSchool FFA members recently marked National FFA Week with their first annual Bedford County Agriculture Industry Tours. Thirty #students had the opportunity to visit Equine Services, Vanatta Farms and Stonewall Ridge Farms, where they learned about a variety of agricultural operations and explored career opportunities available right here in Bedford County.🌾

The students also stopped by the Bedford County Farm Bureau office for lunch, prepared by the Middle TN Beef Producers. During their visit, students heard from board members and learned more about the organization’s role in supporting and advocating for local #agriculture.🐄

Experiences like this showcase what #FFA is all about, building leadership skills, expanding knowledge and giving back to the community.💡🌟

👟✨ BCS Is Stepping Up! ✨👟

We’re partnering with #Soles4Souls to host a district-wide shoe drive and TODAY is your last chance to donate!

From January 20 – February 28, we’ll be collecting NEW and GENTLY USED shoes to support people around the world. These shoes will support the Soles4Souls’ 4OPPORTUNITY program, which helps people in countries like Haiti, Honduras and parts of Africa create small businesses selling shoes and clothing to earn a living.

We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.

📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.

Let’s give back—one step at a time! 💙

Thank you for helping us support #students, families and communities around the world.
