🚀 Big Challenges, Bright Minds! 🚀

At #ThomasMagnetSchool's Summer Learning Camp, rising 3rd graders in Tara Turner & Stacey Jefferson’s classes have been working hard to develop the art of teamwork through a variety of hands-on challenges and activities.

From cup stacking challenges and building catapults to chocolate chip cookie fossil digs, #students have collaborated to design bridges, create flotation devices and build parachutes to save a gummy worm named Fred! Each activity has encouraged students to think critically, communicate effectively and work together to solve problems.🤝

It’s been a busy and exciting couple of weeks filled with discovery, creativity and learning.🔍 These engaging experiences reflect the opportunities public schools provide for students to build essential skills, apply their learning in meaningful ways and continue growing as confident learners over the summer. ✨
