About Me
I was born and raised here in Bedford County and am honored to be able to serve the students and families in my hometown. I am married to my husband Chase, and we welcomed our sweet baby girl, Wren Claire, into the world April 2023. The 2023-2024 school year will be my seventh year as an educator teaching 4th grade English at Thomas. I love my job, TMS, and each student I get the privilege to teach. I enjoy spending time with my family, reading books, and vacationing at the beach.
Education:
I graduated from Shelbyville Central High School in 2012 and continued my educated at Tennessee Tech University. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education in 2016 and graduated with my Master's Degree in Library Science in August 2017. I also finished my Educational Specialist Degree in Instructional Leadership in May 2021. All of my degrees are from TTU. I truly believe it's the best school in the country!
