We are excited to partner with Soles4Souls, who has generously donated new, brand-name athletic shoes through their 4EVERYKID program, helping #BedfordCountySchools McKinney-Vento students.
📍Shoe collection bins are in each of our schools and at the Central Office.

All schools will be closed on Monday in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
This day honors the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., whose leadership and vision helped advance equality, justice, and peace through nonviolent action. It’s an important opportunity for our community to reflect on his message and continue striving for kindness, service, and unity.
As Dr. King reminded us:
“The time is always right to do what is right.”
Classes will resume on Tuesday. We hope everyone has a safe and meaningful holiday as we honor Dr. King’s enduring impact.

For the second year in a row, thanks to the generous support of several Walking Horse organizations, community members, and local businesses, the Thomas Magnet School BETA Club was able to participate in the Christmas Angels program. This year, our middle school BETA members proudly bought and wrapped gifts for 42 students from Bedford County Schools.
This meaningful service project has become a favorite for our BETA students, giving them the chance to help those in need while learning valuable budgeting and financial decision-making skills. Even more importantly, it encourages empathy, kindness, and consideration for others. We are so proud of our students and grateful to everyone who helped make this possible! ❤️✨
