🌟 We’re Going STEAM! 🌟
We’re excited to share that Thomas Magnet School is working toward becoming a STEAM-designated school through the Tennessee STEM Innovation Network (TSIN)! 🔬🎨🎵📚💻
This designation recognizes schools that intentionally integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics into learning and help students develop creativity, collaboration, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
We’re excited about this journey and the opportunities it will create for our students! We’ll be sharing more about our STEAM journey along the way—stay tuned! 🚀
If your child would like some additional help with assignments, or needs a little boost in specific skills, sign up to have them stay after school on Tuesdays from 2:45 - 3:45 for Homework/Tutoring Hour. Sign up with the QR that is posted in your child's teacher's Room in the BCS app. Students must be signed up in order to stay. Contact us with any questions!

Three educators from #ThomasMagnetSchool have been selected to be part of the 2026–2027 Tennessee Rural STEM Collaborative! 🎉
Mrs. Crunk, Mrs. Olsen and Mrs. Houp will join educators from across Tennessee for this year-long professional learning opportunity focused on expanding high-quality STEM experiences for #students, connecting learning to local STEM career pathways and building 21st Century Skills.
Throughout the year, these educators will participate in targeted professional development, collaborate with fellow educators and connect with experts in STEM education and career fields. 🚀
